Instructions for use
- For long term storage, keep below 4°C.
- Keep cysts at room-temperature, 21-25°C, for 24 hours prior to hatching.
Hatching:
- Use clean seawater or fresh-water containing 30-35g per litre of salt (NaCl).
- Use a clean container with conical-shaped bottom.
- Do not wash cysts.
- Add 2g of cysts per litre. Keep the temperature constant at 26-28°C.
- PH should be above 7.5. If the PH is below 7.5 add Sodium-bicarbonate at 1.5 g/l.
- Add enough aeration to keep the cysts in suspension.
Harvest: After 24h stop aeration, wait 5-15 minutes and siphon the nauplii from the bottom of the container, rinse with clean water and feed out.
